CELL FILLING UNIT (CFU-EX)

ADOR Digatron CFU-EX, Cell Filling Unit, is an automatic pouch cell filling machine, designed to work externally from a dry room. The machine is designed to perform electrolyte dispensing and sealing of pouch cells under vacuum, in an oxygen free controlled environment.
The operator loads a tray containing up to 12 cells in the machine inlet. The filling cycle is automatic. A pick and place system takes one cell at a time, places it in a cell holder that slides under the vacuum chamber head. Electrolyte dispensing is performed at pre-set vacuum level and liquid volume. Multiple vacuum and filling steps can be performed to enhance electrolyte soaking. Once the filling cycle is completed, the cell is automatically heat-sealed under vacuum and placed back into the tray.
